Dr. John Rice is Managing Director, Life Sciences at CincyTech a venture development company focusing on seed venture capital investment and a co-founder and former Managing Partner of Triathlon Medical Ventures, both in based in Cincinnati. He has 29 years of venture investing and 13 years of research and R&D management experience in biomedical science. He has strong relationships in the scientific community from the 26 years he spent in biomedical research and R&D management at Battelle and Senmed.
Dr. Rice has served as Chairman to over a half dozen high growth biotech/medtech companies. He has authored numerous scientific publications and holds patents in the fields of virology and immunology and earned BS, MS and PhD degrees in Microbiology and Virology from The Ohio State University. Dr. Rice has been the Chairman of Genetesis since 2016.
